Mexico: Seaweed Crisis
The newest resident of Tulum, along with droves of bloggers, wealthy tourists, impatient developers and yogis is Sargassum seaweed, a genus of brown microalgae native to places like the Sargasso Sea in the North Atlantic and parts of Brazil.
